Welcome To My Website

I’m Susan and in my late sixties. Wife to Chris, mother of two and step mother of three, have five grand children, and a grand-dog

Things are certainly interesting at this time in life

I’ve created this website to help women who have reached their midlife journey and want the best out of this chapter of their life

Better health, well-being and financial security

We’ll discuss a lot of topics around this but especially around those personal issues that forever haunt us in some way or another as we reach a certain age (namely the menopause)

Having reached my late sixties I know that to get the best out of the rest of my life I need to be as healthy as possible and enjoy life so taking care of my diet, my fitness and my health required a lifestyle change which I undertook in 2020 after being diagnosed with familial high cholesterol and given a stern warning about what might happen next - a stroke or a heart attack!

It definitely makes you sit up and take notice

I knew that to control my familial high cholesterol I would need to take medication and I was good with that

But that was not all - there was more I could do!

However I didn't want to take HRT or drugs like that for my menopause symptoms and hormone imbalances that were leading to the dreaded meno belly, weight gain and other horrible things

That sent me off on a voyage of discovery to find natural solutions

They have completely changed my life and a whole new world has opened up for me

Previously unknown knowledge about how the body works and how you can change anything you want once you know these facts

And I want this website to be full of information so you can explore issues related to your own midlife journey and find solutions for you

After all these are the best years of our life and we want to look and feel good about ourselves

What would you say you most want to know about as you navigate these years?

I would love to know

The cheerful mind perseveres and the strong mind hews its way through a thousand difficulties.
